the tale of the immortal yadjirha: gold has the highiest value of all the metal. shang tu is rich in wealth but not with gold unlike aidini, a kingdom that is as not as wide as the eastern kingdom but as rich as it is. aidini is the home of the alchemy where people who mastered it can turn any metal into gold with the master work they call the philosophers stone. but the kingdom, though it is financially wealthy, people there are suffering from health problems as if a plague have conquered the kingdom. a disease has been klling millions of people yearly because no medicine can cure the people of aidini, no travelling merchant could sell them anything that could even ease the pain. the king worries about the issue his kingdom is facing. yadjirha, one of his phycisian of the kingdom dedicated himself to find the answer on how to cure the disease. he wished to travel the world to find for a possible medicine and along with him is a little girl whos at the earliest stage of infection to be a subject of his experimental medicines. the king allowed him to travel the world and with that they were given a philosopher stone for their expences. they traveled to the east and found shang tu. magic can cure the people of aidini but yadjirha cannot learn magic, he wants a medicinal approach to cure his friends and family that he left there. though it is a good hope for the people of aidini he tried the libraries and laboratories of shang tu instead, but none could cure his subject and as the day turns to weeks and to months she suffers more. he too knows alchemy and tried different plants that are availble and was said to be a miracle plant to create medicine for his subject but still, nothing happened. after trying his best with the resources from shang tu he travelled to cheosun, people there are really concerned with health and has a wide varity of medicinal plants. he started reading books for medicines and illnesses in hope he could find the answer in texts but he founds nothing. the more he spends time the more his subject becames weaker. he travelled next to amatsu and heard about the woman who lives in ashikaya who can make the blind see, the limp walk and the barren productive. he seek for her help and saw her way of treatment. it was mutation if one would look closely to it, if she wants one to have a wing, a tail, or lose an arm or a leg, she can do it at will. but when asked if she could cure the young girl she said she cannot if cure is what he is looking for, he should look for a medicinal plant but then no plant that exist that has the ability to cure her but she told him that he make one. she taught him transmutation and he himself made an experiment to mutate a plant that could cure the worst disease. the process took his left eye but he succeded. but then it was too late as the young girl died as she had reach her limit. but he then tried if the medicine he created will make any changes. he spread it all over the girls corpse and the first minute was a failure until she breathes again. he created the elixir of immortality but then his quest is not done yet. the girl lived but is still infected. he creates another medicine and finally got the result hes been looking for. he returns to aidini and provide the cure. the king talked to him as he secretly revealed to him that he is now an immortal. the king is interested about living forever but he refuse to give the elixir and told the king that death is ones right to have peace throughout his life, that living forever is a fate worst than death. the king understands what hes trying to say and made him the high phycisian of the kingdom.
