there are some people out there who have never heard the word of God, and yet they tend to bad mouth it. they say its nonsense, or even worse. some would even accuse it of doing harm. but they are wrong. Gods word does not harm, it heals. Gods word is not nonsense, its truth. when God speaks to us through His word, we hear His love for us. we hear a Father who loves His children, and takes care of them. we hear a Father who has compassion for us, and when we are hurting is there for us. we hear a Father who fights for His children, who never gives up on them, and refuses to let them fall. we hear, through Gods word, a Father who never abandons His children, and, no matter what they do, will always forgive them and never forsake them. through Gods word we get to know a loving and amazing God who loves His family (us) more than anything in the world. that is what Gods word tells us. if we listen, in His word, that is what we will hear. He is our Father, our Savior, our Friend. and we should treasure every word of His we hear, for in each one we recieve His love. in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.-1 John 4:8(ESV) 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.-Romans 8:37-39(ESV) For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.-Jeremiah 29:11(ESV) 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.-John 3:16-17(ESV) If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude.
