there are somethings that some people will never understand.... not because they cant but because they do not want to accept it because if they do, itll force them to take a long look in the mirror at themselves... every day i fear for my nephews and little boy cousins and every little black boy I pass ... i watch them while they are young and innocent, being raised by women who dont truly understand that when you give birth to a black baby boy in america you have to teach him and raise him like the soldier he will be forced to become... right out of the whom he is thrown into the fight and not one moment can be taken for granted because every minute he spends not aware of who he truly is VS the person the world view him as is a battle lost, its sad but our young men dont have the luxury of spending too many years as care-free children because the amount of knowledge and understanding of himself and the black man in relation to the world (past, present and future) will take years to grasp... and it is only through this knowledge and understanding that he will be able to thrive in this country and world and know what it takes to continue to breed soldiers for this war against our black men/ boys
