this is an old project I developed in 90... yo eliminate homelessness... but believe that time is now.. please send me some feed backs on this CIRCLE PROJECT Circle Foundation is a nonprofit company allowing development of needed and necessary housing for young people, in countries with undeveloped credit system, damaged by war, economy crises, high unemployment and/or poverty. Circle (goes around - comes around) project provides opportunities for young people ages 25 to 37, mostly in countries without developed credit system and/or high unemployment, who are otherwise unable to provide themselves and their families with a housing, to build their own homes investing labor during certain period of time (which is predetermined by the size of their home). This project is to change a whole paradigm of pay back mentality in certain regions, affected by unemployment and poverty, while through this project, young people will have an opportunity to receive a great pay back for all of their effort and their physical labor- a home of their own. Globalization and localization The integration of the Circle Foundation project in the world economy and the increasing demand for local development with integration of youth labor—are two of the most important forces shaping development of the 21st century. These forces affect trade, development of the local and the global urban development, and will require those countries to seek a dynamic equilibrium at both international and sub-national levels. The 22nd edition of the World Development Report analyzes how these forces could reshape the international landscape in the new millennium. It proposes rules and structures on which to build a more effective, comprehensive approach to development; provides valuable insight into how current viewpoints can be adapted to fit evolving development concerns; and offers guidance for decision makers, researchers, and others with an interest in development that also includes Selected World Development Indicators, an essential reference on recent trends in development. PROGRAM: Circle project funds all construction materials necessary, for needed housing, build by young people who invest their labor in exchange for their homes. Buildings are 3 to 7 level high. First and in some cases second levels of those buildings are commercial, used for refund to land donors, trades (contractors) that are overseeing the projects, and materials invested. Second and up level floors to consist of one and two bedroom apartments designated for participants. Selection of participants is limited to a monetary challenged young people, mostly students (with or without finished degree), ages 25 to 37 years old, in need of housing, in order to keep intelligence and young labor within the local country. RULES: To get proper results, accommodation of following needs to be in tact: I - Public advertisement and exposure of Circle Project to attract right participants-young people in true need of housing. II - Election to be conducted in public auditoriums, movie theatres, or school halls. III - Selection process to be open to a public. IV - Young people to be chosen by one another. Anyone who chooses to participate to be chosen will be involved in the selection process as well. XI - Size of the apartment to be predetermined by the amount of time invested in the project. XII - Participant to agree to complete all work by themselves, from the start to finish, in order to have all ownership rights. If participant quits, all rights are removed/lost automatically.
