this is just a personal gripe: im kind of over female singers trying to do the feist/ joanna newsom thing with their vocal inflections. you know what im talking about. kind of like decemberists front man colin meloy on helium. its beginning to rival the eddie vedder thing with guys. its everywhere. ladies, there are other ways to sing that dont involve mimicking a little girl or putting distracting slurs on all your consonants and vowels. if thats what comes natural, go for it. i find it hard to believe that all these girls were just suddenly born at once who naturally sing with such exaggerated and strange vocal devices. Pointless facebookery? yes. just sayin though.
