Paul Ford Green, Nephew from the day I was born, till the time I heard of your passing, Ive lost yet another piece of my heart that only god can give back to me at a later time in place. As I am sitting writing this, wondering what youre doing right now. trying my hardest to make up for the years you have struggled in so many days. I want you to know, WE, your nieces and nephews, your Son, AJ, have all grown up to have many parts of you inside of us in one way or another. I have been thinking since the 22nd of the so many traits that youve left behind in all of us whereas theres gonna be plenty of times when well all live those flashbacks, take a step back and know right where it all came from. I still remember the day when Nanny blamed me for how you and uncle vincent act. I think its the other way around. but, Im going to take that as a compliment now. Im in good company either way. It was you who has me wearing the high-socks till this day. It was you whose made me feel inspired from old-style rock & roll, soul, oldies and doo-wop music. with an assist here or there, It was you that helped me who I am today. - and I really dont know if thats a good thing or not, lol! I am pretty open minded (Thank You!!) ...also, Im pretty darn goofy too!! It was you, whos spitting image will carry on in one child. It was you, whos spitting image will carry on in one young person. It was you, whos spitting image will carry on in one young gentleman. It was you, whos spitting image will carry on in one young man. ever since your child has been born. I said, that he was going to be the spitting image of YOU. He was.
