this video is so cool. it is about the old conrail blue rolling stock motive power rolling thru my back yard. i rember hearing these trains in this video you can here the beautiful sound of the diesel electric locomotives. here the bells and the songs of the air horn. this was made when i was a senior in high school 1990 and i left here that year and it has never been the same. this is what my home of centre and clearfield counties look like in late winter early spring here in the keystone state of pa. the trains go right thru my home town the pennshire sighn look for it. i rember 6 units pulling long strings of coal cars thru the area. lots of trains back then. the viadoc bridge is a cool scene and seeing how they are loaded at the tipple was a neat scene too. these are images of my homeland when i was growing up. conrail blue is no more. i really have always been a train nut since i was little my one good friend drove conrail blue and he is still going at 92. he tells stories of driving these steel beauties down these steel roads. i love rembering conrail blue.
