this week we did something amazing. Nearly 600 couples statewide got married. Not commitment ceremony, not domestic partnership, but married in the eyes of the law. Think about all those federal rights that they share now! I cant tell you enough about the tears of joy and pride and love that Ive seen this week. Yes, there is a stay so no more ceremonies for now. But those marriages? Those are still there. Equality will prevail. So this weekend, raise a glass to those couples and remember that this week we made history and no one can take that away. None of you needed that piece of paper to prove your love, but its still pretty damn amazing that you have it. Thank you all for letting #teamrainbowdress be part of your special day, for letting us help share your stories. We are honored.
