this weekends project, tidy up the underside of the hood. The paint on the bottom of the hood was faded, discolored, flaking and bubbling. It was easily the roughest looking part of the car. So I bought one of those stainless mirror dress up kits from a seller on ebay. I sanded and scuffed the paint on the hood as best I could, installed the mirror panels, then painted the entire thing (mirror panels still had their faces masked off for install) in rustoleum flat black.
