to all those who are younger than me (i address only you for that is what cultural protocol permits me to do without any inhibition): ..how i wish may parents where here, for me to intimate to them how you have accorded me so much honour, and credit, beyond what i or my years might deserve. everyone of you that i meet in the streets and in the stores, gives me a tale for me to take with. the sparkle i see in your eyes, which sparkle i did not find in many of you months ago, gives me reason to persevere more, to keep fighting and arising in doing my absolute best. at times, i have seen your love, as i have witnessed in recent times, cause you to defend me with every word and weapon that you can fathom. but for your sake, and for the sake of our noble aspirations as a people, lets learn to believe that nothing, and i mean no weapon, whatsoever, thrown against a just cause shall prosper. please turn all your attention towards the road and work ahead. do not expect that you can pursue change and hope everyone will send you roses - that is not our calling (to be sent roses all the time). allow me to read this short poem, for you - Let me silent be, For silence is the speech of love, The music of the spheres above. ~Richard Henry
