todays mini project ( about 20 minutes): A river stone that I made special for my dad. He is a big fan of the Duck Dynasty show and esp. of the one guy called Si. When dad was in rehab I bought him a shirt with Si on it saying Hey. he loved that shirt and got alot of compliments etc for it. So iIthought I would make him a rock with that on it. The Hey portion is sunk in with the letters themselves slightly lower than the ridge portion of the stone. So in effect there are 3 diff. levels to the rock , unlike the usual 2 for an rock in this pattern. it gives a bit more depth but is a PAIN :) to do since the stone wants to blow out ( note the little bottom portion of the H where it did slightly , I had to fix it as best can be done) Overall very happy especially with the paint working as it did and it not encroaching onto the lettering or outer portion of the rock ,also the rough cut into the rock came out well giving it a more rugged look instead of just a simple circle or oval cut . I think Dad will Like it .
