trials are trials for a reason...they build character...Jesus was tried in the wilderness, Matthew 4:1King James Version (KJV) "4 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil." For every heavenly assignment...there is a hellish one...it is the will that you have to choose the correct way and path... "2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred." When we do the will of God...He protects us...but once His anointing has covered us we are then again tested to see what our will can withstand... "3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread." Even tghough we are not the Son of God we are sons and daughters of God...so...the enemy wants to see how strong you are in Him... "4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." When the enemy tests...we must know how to correctly answer to put him in his proper place... "8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me." It is at our lowest point that the offer comes...and the offer looks good...real good...but is the offer that is offered...worth the price that it comes with...the answer is simple... "10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." You see the world offers things that look good...but everything that look good aint good...Malcolm X said "nothing worth while is gained without struggle"...that simply means that nothing comes easy...faith aint easy...life aint easy...it all takes work...hard work...why not put in the work to get the result...earn your stripes...and receive the generous rewards...not name it and claim it...go thru...to get to and the reward may not be on earth...it should the heavenly reward...of "well done my good and faithful servant"...but until then...hold on...have faith and remember...Jesus was tested and we are only followers of Him...it is the reward of the tests that matter! The reward and the satisfaction of knowing you have character...because you went through the struggle...you have strength to endure amazing hurdles...and you have a promise that was given by God! be blessed and be obedient! @lifeGotAmazingwaysOfshowingYOUwhatyouAreMadeOf@
