update about NH2 (AH1) From Kolkata till Varanasi- 703kms >>> After departing from my Home at 4.30am I cruised at comfortable speed like 60kmph till Vidhyasagar Setu.Then took right towards Bardhaman.Crossed Dankuni and find the expressway was lone,so ripped the throttle to 90-110 and ride non stop to Jharkhand.Stopped at a Dhaba at 8.30 sharp just after the WB-JH Border.Refueled as the fuel price is Rs.70.88.Stopped for 15mins and again started.This time I find the road is too much bumpy with few dangerous bumps.so slowed down a bit and reached Barhi after 412kms from home at around 11.30.Heat is too much so took a halt again.I took my breakfast at Dumri,that was 100kms after Asansol.After Barhi the magic of natures started with hills and forests on the both side and the concrete section of NH2 also had started too.Desolate road except trucks.Feels scary some times.I cruised really fast in this section because fear of a Puncture!!on this stretch a Puncture can be a trauma upon me!TeamBhp (by various threads) said this stretch is not safe for stopping!!I quickly crossed this section and next I stopped at Saukala Toll after Sherghati.Checked Tire pressure.Then it was a uninterrupted sequence of Riding and Riding with 2-3 small rest.Crossed Bihar-UP border around 3.30pm and entered in Varanasi at 4.30.Dehri is in Bad shape around 1km.And UP Road is again Bumpy except around 70kms of Concrete Surface.Although one can do it within 10hr with a Motorbike.
