via Cameron Brewer Councillor Casey today savaged her Mayor for mismanaging the Living Wage vote last December, citing just one mans amendment that killed off all hope. I take that as a badge of honour. Imagine if that 11/10 vote went the other way - the councils black budget would be even worse! ...Councillor Cameron Brewer hit out at the rising level of staff and put forward an amendment calling for a review into staff levels and whether a cap can be set. The mayor pushed back and disallowed the amendment, saying that would be dealt with in the Long-Term Plan discussions....
