we are all glad to have our children, relatives and friends being graduated from their respective educational levels :-) some barely made it, some made it with flying colors. no matter how they made it, it is important they have lived up to the expectations of their parents and friends (not to mention the least expectations from terror teachers hehehehe). quo vadis now college graduates? to the less fortunate (those who do not have the right pull and connections) you might as well be content with sweating it out hoping against hope you can get a job! to the more fortunate ones: those who finished ahead of their class and those who finished from the best colleges/universities; those who barely made it but armed with the right pull and strongest connections who are offered jobs in silver platter... the scenario is quite interesting! (frustrating?) many think this is a dream-come-true. uh uh and soon, many will think a dream will always be a dream. diaspora! many will leave their loved ones many will be scattered many will throw fingers at many many will be missed. brain drain! the more than 7,000 one hundred islands (forgive me if my numbering is wrong) of the philippine archipelago will be bereft of talents and expertise once again (no end). but despite... we still love each other and this is what makes us more interesting people. quo vadis, pilipinas?
