we buried our dearest sweet baby queen Cleo tonight...even tho Ive always claimed her (along w martha) I (we) knew she was marthas baby girl, but she loved me too...*smile* she was last born, I broke her bag and gave her her first breath. she was daddys baby girl and the beauty queen of the house...she was the most sweetest kitten Ive ever met....the house feels a little empty right now. Martha held her in her arms while i touched and soothed and Ganin eased her transitioning this morning. my poor sweet martha was crying and loving her, I had to be stoic....I am feeling her loss, heavily, tonight, yet, I know she is in a better place....I consecrated the ground she was buried in, (thank you Justin, for digging the hole, it was not an easy job out here in the desert!) she was wrapped in the bright colors she wanted and was sent w the little purple flowers she loved (from above, on our balcony), some fresh water, crunchies, catnip and a toy (oh, and a pretty blue rock from her mama martha)...I read the piece that Gani wrote for her and also a piece from Starhawk...watched the stars come out and sing her home....last I looked up at the sky, I saw my sweet lil grandkitty playing w a star across the sky....RIP sweet baby queen. your time here was so very short but so very full...of love, laughter, joy, kitty amusement and kitty snickers....you were the bright beloved baby of all of us. we will miss you.
