what century are we living in? and why is Wayne County stuck in the 1800s? One of the requirements to attend a NYS college is a Certificate of Residency. Now in Monroe County I can go to their website print one off, fill it out and send to the college. In Wayne County I have to TAKE TIME OFF WORK, DRIVE TO LYONS to get this same form so not only do we taxpayers lose income we also have to spend money for gas. STUPID We also have no central DEPARTMENT OF VITAL STATISTICS again like my former Home, Monroe County. what that means is all of our Birth/death certificates, marriage licenses are NOT RECORDED ANYWHERE the records are sitting somewhere in storage. Can anyone say DISASTER? If those records are lost we taxpayers are ALL SCREWED. See this is what happens when you put people in power in our towns that dont have a clue to what they are doing STUPID ABOUNDS
