Answers: hich transmit the motion from one shaft to another shaft. there are many application its used in automobile (i.e.Progreesive type,synchromesh, constant mesh, selective type,automatically).Gear box also used in Rolling mill(i.e. pinion gear box, reduction gear box, speed increaser,reduction cum pinion.)
