when I post sad stories about dogs and the many, many pictures of homeless and abandoned dogs that need F0REVER homes, I am hoping that it will open our eyes to what being an irresponsible pet owner does to these poor little souls. So many people get a puppy because its cute, not realizing the money, time, patience and attention that a dog requires. When they finally figure it out, the dog either gets dumped off somewhere, or worse yet, tied out on a chain in the backyard and forgotten about.
