Well did my first ever dead bait fishing :D made some sprat size traces and they was the perfect size .... Got to Leeds/Liverpool canal first cast less than 5 mins pulled my first one out was over the moon due to blanking for well over 2 weeks (General course fishing so decided to concentrate on the pike ) second one out within 5 mins of the next cast, then, having drove over an hour and half to meet up with a mate to fish ALL day I didnt get much longer because the misses rang saying she was poorly, so I had to drive another hour plus home, i think its only fair that I get to use my sprats up on my local canal tomorrow afternoon if shes better :/ ....
