why is it that a good number of people when they get married or become engaged their fire for the LORD goes low? you find that when someone was single,he/she used to serve the LORD with a unique type of zeal,preaching with fire,praying with fire,but once he is engaged for marriage or married,the fire now calms,now becomes a lukewarm christian... are those partners fire extinguishers that put off the fire of the LORD in ones life?if you know you have forsaken your first love for the LORD,its now time to return,Remember anything that takes the place of GOD is an idol,and no idolator will enter heaven.... REVELATION 2:4-5 Yet l hold this against you,you have forsaken your first love..remember the height which you have fallen!repent and do the things you did at first....if you will not repent,l will come to you and remove the lampstand (salvation) from its place...
