with all due respect to my friends on here who are against obama-care, and i mean this with all respect, but you guys are not realising and being clueless on how our democracy works!!! here in the U.S., we propose laws, then they have to be passed by the house, then they have to be passed by the senate, then the president has to sign it into law! and if your still against a law even after its gone thru all of that ,you have the right and can appeale it to the supreme court! and if it survives all that, THATS IT, its the LAW OF THE LAND, end of story!!! YOU CANNOT ALLOW a small group of politicians in the congress to PICK AND CHOOSE which laws they accept and which one,s they dont!!! And you cant allow these people to defy the congress, the senate, then the president, AND even the supreme court, cause if that happens you DONT HAVE A DEMOCRACY ANYMORE!!! its sets a dangerous precedent! if you allow this to happen then whats to stop a small group of politicians sometime in the future from trying to stop a few laws like, oh i dont know, say......FREDDOM OF SPEECH? THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS? FREEDOM OF ASSMEBLY? RIGHT TO PRIVACY? Or ILLEGAL SEARCH AND SEIZURE????? now do you realise how dangerous a game the GOP is playing???????? theres more at stake here than just providing healthcare for people! this is a CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS forced on us by the GOP!!!
