without even discussing the investment, the company I applied for a job informed me that I am too expensive. well, I thought. you have a challanging project, you need someone who knows what to do. instead they have chosen to employ someone in the beginning of their twenties, with no experience in the travel trade, and hardly any work experience at all, not to mention the enthusiasm to deal with things they dont know about. fine, I thought. you must pay for your education. and they did.... and still do. every single day. it doesnt pay to save on the wrong end.
