woowowowwowow this reminds me of what we went over in sunday school last week. when Jessica asked us what Jesus came into the world to do, immediately I said He died for us, but the idea below hardly crossed my mind. The gap in many people’s theology is simply this. Everyone understands that Jesus died for us, but few grasp that he lived for us just as much. This is important because Jesus lived a life that imparts responsibility on those that he died to free. A responsibility to follow. This is why we focus on his death so much, because we prefer freedom without responsibility.
