Nasrallah was addressing Shia mourners in the capital Beirut on the occasion of Ashura. He gave assurances that the militants will never be able to take control of Syria. He said Syria hasnt fallen despite plots and efforts by the US and its allies to topple the Damascus government. The Hezbollah leader also pointed out to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Palestinian land, and slammed Tel Avivs settlement expansion plans as well as the escalation of violence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Nasrallah warned that the Israeli actions are putting the holy site in grave danger. He called on all Muslims to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque against Israel.
