youtu.be/JJzqy7-H_34 The traditional (secular) date of the Exodus is 1250 BC, during the time of Pharaoh Rameses in the new Kingdom. Since no evidence has been found for an Exodus during this time period, most archaeologists are skeptical about the biblical account. This film argues, however, that archaeologists have been looking in the wrong time period hundreds of years too early. The documentary reveals that agnostic archaeologists like David Rhol are now strongly questioning the late 1250 BC date, Secular Egyptologists are increasingly admitting that their dating of ancient Egyptian history is in shambles. Some are declaring that the Bible should be given more serious consideration as our best - and only - historical record of events surrounding the Hebrews. Regardless of the debate between the secular experts, for us the record of Exodus is truly historical, as the writers of the New Testament and Jesus himself (Luke 16:31) affirm it to be so.
