Then he went to produce the roughly same movie with his signature in Ah Beng The Movie: Three Wishes (2012) and Ah Beng Mission Impossible (2014) under his own production team which slowly make the audience turned away from the cinema even during Chinese New Year. Moreover, Once Upon A Time (2013) also didnt turned out well in the box office during Chinese New Year. Probably I guess this is the reason why his latest film, 3 Brothers (2014) decide to have early release in December instead putting on Chinese New Year slot.
