Dear Mr. Muhammad, Thank you very much. I will try to give you as much as info as i can. Actually i am in Africa, Nigeria for work, but as my sister in law was in that airplane, I am really concerned. My wife is Syrian Palestinian, her sister, Palestinian Syrian too, with her 3 small daughters was in that airplane. The airplane was a Syrian airline that left Damascus on Sunday 6 October direction Cairo at 10.00 am in the morning, flight number 201. When they arrived in Cairo around 50 persons from that airplane where stopped and prevented to enter Egypt by the military in the airport. Mainly are Palestinian Syrian female kids and old people. My relatives went 3 days before the departure to the Egyptian Embassy in Damascus and they were told that they can enter, they do not need visa. The Egyptian Embassy in Damascus until now sustains the same thing my sister in law husband went 2 times and all the times he got the same answer: there is no reason to hold them, they have the right to enter, we informed the authority in the airport, but during 3 days nothing happened. The 50 hostages were held the first day in a big room, and they brought them food. That day one Egyptian woman was held too with them, probably a spy of the security, and she was the only one who has a telephone and everyone was using her telephone to receive calls. Sunday and Monday morning we were able to speak with them trough this number, but then Monday the Egyptian woman was released and we could not contact them anymore. The Egyptian authorities took all their passports, luggage and mobiles and they have no contact with outside. We discovered later that another Palestinian woman is hiding a mobile with an Egyptian number, but very seldom we are able to call this number, because they have to hide it from the authorities. They are in a double small room in the airport very dirty and one toilet for 50 persons. The kids are sick, a doctor came, told them you have to take medicine, but no one brought them medicine. From the second day they were treated very badly, yesterday they did not bring any food, only at night they brought some rotten food, like in prison. I just spoke with my wife, the same situation, they do not know what will happen to them and the military security service them started to ask them money to be released, 1.200 dollar each. Today my brother in law read on internet that Sunday 6 October there was a decree forbidding to all Palestinians from Syria (even women kids and old people) to enter in Egypt, but that the law will be effective from Monday 7 October. Please, try to see how is possible to assist these persons inside the Cairo international airport. Please, tell me what kind of information do you need and I will try to provide you. they are closed like in prison, between iron doors in the cairo international airport nobody can enter or go out without security permission Thank you Regards
