يتوجه مساعد أمين عام الأمم المتحدة ومستشاره الخاص لليمن #جمال_بنعمر اليوم إلى نيويورك في ختام زيارة استمرت نحو شهر إلى #اليمن. ومن المقرر أن يقدّم تقريراً إلى مجلس الأمن الدولي في السابع والعشرين من الشهر الجاري (سبتمبر)، وذلك في جلسة مفتوحة يشارك فيها وزراء خارجية عدد من الدول منها أستراليا وبريطانيا واليمن والمغرب، إضافة إلى أمين عام مجلس التعاون الخليجي الدكتور عبد اللطيف الزياني. يقدّم بنعمر في تقريره تقويماً لمسار العملية السياسية في اليمن عموماً، ومؤتمر الحوار الوطني الشامل خصوصاً. ويخصّص جزءاً يسيراً لعرض ما توصّلت إليه لجنة معالجة القضية الجنوبية في نقاشاتها على مدى أسبوعين، والتحديات الواجب تذليلها للتوصل إلى صيغة توافقية وإنهاء مؤتمر الحوار بنجاح. ومن المقرر أن يعود بنعمر إلى صنعاء بعيد تقديم تقريره، بهدف متابعة تيسير ودعم عمل لجنة معالجة القضية الجنوبية، والمساعدة على التوافق على وثيقة مخرجات مؤتمر الحوار وإطلاق عملية صوغ الدستور. The Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General #Jamal_Benomar heads to New York today, concluding a month-long visit to #Yemen. He is due to present his report to the Security Council on 27 September. The foreign ministers of Australia, Yemen and Morocco will participate, among others, in addition to the GCC Secretary-General Abdullatif Al Zayani. Mr. Benomar’s report highlights the progress made in the political process and the National Dialogue Conference in Yemen. It also focuses on the initial deliberations of the two-week long negotiations on the Southern Question, and the remaining challenges to be addressed in order to reach a consensual outcome and successfully conclude the National Dialogue Conference. After the Security Council meeting, the Special Adviser will head back to Sana’a to continue supporting talks and facilitating consensus on the Southern Question, the outcome document of the National Dialogue and the launch of the constitution-making process.
