ॐ Om Namah Shivay!!!ॐ Shrawan mass starts as frm 13th July to 10th August 2014. Shravan is considered the most sanctified month of the year. It is the fifth month of the Hindu calender known as sawan and also known as the first month of Chatur Mas - the four holiest months in Hindu Hindi Calendar. On Purnima or fullmoon day the nakshatra Shravan rules the sky, hence the month is called Shravan. Each day of Sawan is regarded as Having, showing or expressing reverence for a deity. Special prayers and rituals are performed in Lord Shiva temples. Mondays or Somvars of Shravan month are specially observed with austerity for Lord shiva. This month is spread out with innumerably religious festivals which are Naga-Panchami Kalkyavatara, Putradaikadashi, Shravani Purnima,Raksha Bandhan Vara Lakshmi Vrata, Rishi Panchami, Govatsa and almost all the days of this month are auspicious.
