⚽️Under-13s Friendly Match in Rossendale: Positive Start FC 2 - 1 Basa Juniors FC What a fantastic game of football served up by the little kids, I cant remember a game this entertaining for a long while. In drizzling rain the quality of football and the amazing enthusiasm shown by both sets of players and fans was brilliant. Positive Start FC made a fantastic start going 2-0 up in the first 10 minutes, but the Basa Juniors showed a lot of heart to pull one back to make it 2-1 before half time. The second half was a real spectacle, end-to-end stuff with chances for both teams, the coaches, parents and fans were jumping up and down hiding their umbrellas ... shouts of ooooooohs and aaaaaahs and run back son, run back lol!! Magical stuff!! :) After the final whistle all the kids shook hands and went inside to share pizzas and chips together along with parents, coaches and volunteers, and everyone left with a smile on their faces, having made new friends, and safe in the knowledge that today was a memory the kids will cherish all their life! Thank you very much to everyone at Positive Start for being the best hosts ever and special thanks to Moheen Uddin, Ishy and Jam Tu Cool for organising the event and putting smiles on all our kids faces and the parents Sadik Miah, Jamal Miah, Ali Shamus, and Andy Newbold for bringing your cars and your dedication, its a beautiful thing!
