03 20 2014 Thursday Well, if you were awake at midnight last night and watching Fox and CNN at the same time, you heard the Prime Minister of Australia say they had found some sea junk floating a few 100 miles off Perth in Western Australia and they thought it was airplane wingish looking. Later on CNN, the speculation started that the flight might have suffered radical decompression just the way Payne Stewart’s plane went down, and just as a side note, the same way I have been saying it happened from the start. I think the news needs to get more news going and less speculation and then we all would learn more. A 16 year old boy sneaks past armed guards (sleeping) and took a ride up to the top of the alleged air tight #1 World Trade Center and sent a selfie of himself across the net. New York is just falling apart under Bull-agio and everyone is surprised. Can you really take a man seriously who closes Charter Schools in poor neighborhoods just because they are being supported by the 1%’s? Mr. Mayor you can’t tax equality into the world any more than you can pass a law requiring anyone to do or not do anything. Taxes get repressive and people do what they have always done and move to Jersey or Connecticut. The slow steady fall into recession/depression is still with us. While in isolated pockets of the country, even in areas as small as parts of counties, it’s not true that the national average of sales of existing houses has again dropped for the 6th out of 7 months. This dove tails with slipping sales in so-called Big Box Stores and to some extent fast foods where laborers eat. No one working=no one eating. The Fed Chair, Janet Yellen, indicated that she could see interest rates rising after she had analyzed white house numbers on economic growth. I think she is drinking Berry’s Kool-Aid and reading his doctored numbers too much. I saw a sound bite on what the administration was including and excluding from some of the numbers they published and I think they could have proved we all were millionaires and poor equally as easily by just including this and excluding that. Janet you better take a deep breath and get your own numbers before you start scaring people away from debt again because this time you might just find out we had enough money in our mattresses to pay our bills this time and then you have a real problem. Our good friend Charlie Rangel gave a speech yesterday and called conservative tea party types mean, racists, and descendants of slave owners… My people are working class white people from KY and never owned anyone. So at least for this conservative republican, I think your wrong Charlie. Just when you got used to paying the same amount in minimum wage as you do for a cup of coffee, Starbuck wants to add beer and wine to their afternoon faire. Yum, a $20.00 cup of Beer... where is the line? Liberal Judge cuts a life sentence for a child molester to probation, and a teacher who was ‘dating’ a student turned himself in after he was hiding in Myrtle Beach...during spring break. When I was on spring break I was worried about getting into King Frog or back to the Motel... Oh, buy the way, the average Student on Spring Break this year will spend $1,000.00 for a week away from the books. That’s still cheaper than many schools tuition. Westboro Baptist preacher, Fred Phelps, dies at 84. Hopefully his hate preaching will die with him. Coast Guard gets their funding cut by 25% as they move into the busy season for drug and other water interdictions. Instead of being able to stay out on patrol for smugglers of all types for a week at a time they are now being confined to the docks for three out of 4 weeks. Now they don’t have to wait for Super Bowl Sunday to do most of their smuggling. Lastly tonight, employers have said they will cut about 40% of their employees if the minimum wage goes up to the $10.10 mark. With the new Obama Care costs, the higher wages and uncertainty over interest rates the job market will be pretty bleak this summer for young job seekers. Night all see you tomorrow!
