1 Corinthians Chapter 1, verse 27: But God hath chosen the foolish - TopicsExpress

1 Corinthians Chapter 1, verse 27: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; Confound: Verb: 1. Cause surprise or confusion in (someone), especially by not according with their expectations. I have always believed that this verse means that God will take the person that the experts of this world think is foolish, and God will raise that person/s above those who think that they are wise. These so-called foolish people will confuse those who originally thought that they were wiser, to the extent that they are scrambling for answers because their False-Belief-System does not have the answers to what they are seeing (the work of God). Those that think that they have power and strength either physical, importance or status etc and who tend to look down on others that they would call weak, through their eyes of pride, will find themselves lost for words and confused as God does His work to change their lives and as he brings back justice to the world.
