1.VACANCY CIRCULAR NO. 6 OF 2013 VACANCY: Assistant Supplies Officer tenable in Francistown Vacancies exist in the Industrial Court. The Industrial Court is a court of law and equity, which exists to provide a professional, efficient, effective and just service in the settlement of trade disputes. Self-driven, efficient and resourceful candidate is sought to fill the above positions. Priority will be given to citizens of Botswana. 1.1.SALARY SCALE: B1 (P50 124- P59 892 per annum) 1.2.BENEFITS: i) Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and employee 50%). ii) Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% and employee 5%). iii) 20 working days per annum 1.3.QUALIFICATIONS •Candidates must have a BGSCE Certificate or its equivalent plus a •Certificate Course in Supply and Materials Management. 1.4.EXPERIENCE •Candidates must have at least three (3) years experience in supplies environment preferably at the level of Senior Supplies Assistant in the Public Service or its equivalent in the Private Sector. 1.5.DUTIES •Facilitates Internal Stock Checks to ensure proper maintenance of Supplies Records as per Receipts and Issues of Supplies. •Provides information for response to Audit Queries. •Monitors and controls expenditure of funds meant for procurement and services by verifying votes ledger returns on monthly basis. •Investigates and analyses results of such investigations in order to make recommendations on contract cancellations or extensions, write offs, disposal and surcharges where applicable. 2.VACANCY CIRCULAR NO 7 OF 2013: Temporary Court Reporter for twelve (12) months tenable in Gaborone 2.1.SALARY SCALE: C4/3 (P62 136- P92 064 per annum) 2.2.BENEFITS: i) 25 working days per annum 2.3.QUALIFICATIONS •Candidates must hold at least a Diploma in Steno/Reporting •Studies/Diploma in Secretarial Studies. 2.4.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To provide reporting services during Court sittings. 2.5.DUTIES •To record and transcribe verbatim proceedings of the Court. •Transcribe these proceedings from recorded tapes or shorthand notes for the Court of Appeal and other parties as may be directed by the Judge. •Types orders or Directives given by the Judge. •Types judgments from dictation or drafts made by the Judge. 3.APPLICANTS Quote the vacancy circular and give the following details; a) Full names, address, date and place of birth. b) Brief summary of career with duties (Curriculum Vitae). c) Certified true copies of certificates and National Identity Card. d) At least (2) references.
