2 Corinthians 4:13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believe and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore we speak. Beloved, we have the same Spirit of faith that Jesus has! Why? Because His Spirit lives in us! These are not my words, look at the above verse, read it in its entire context (2 Cor. 7-15). The previous Scriptures are talking about Jesus. So in knowing this, look at Romans 10:5-6 it says, For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, The man who does those things shall live by them. But the righteousness of faith speaks...You cannot have faith without speaking it. When you study Romans 10, you will notice that it says the righteousness of the law... does ...but the righteousness of faith speaks. The law is about doing, whereas faith is about speaking. Are you righteousness? Of course you are! You became righteous the moment you received Christ as your Lord and Savior! Righteous means that you have the right, because of the blood of Jesus, to go before God and petition Him, for what it is that you need and also for what you desire, and then expect to receive it. Why? Because Christ already paid for you to have it! So the righteousness of faith speaks. You need to open your mouth and say by faith.... I am the righteousness of God in Christ! This is where so many believers are missing out on the blessings of Abraham. They are not speaking their righteousness by faith. Your first response to a symptom in your body, or when you receive a bad report or when you are faced with a trial, should always be to say, I am the righteousness of God in Christ! It is not faith until you speak it! When you fail, fall short, get angry or lose your cool on the road (me, all of these) your first response should be I am the righteousness of God in Christ! This makes you Christ conscious and not sin conscious (falling short is sin). The devil will beat you over the head every time you fail, fall short, get angry, or lose your cool and he will remind you of your failures, but remind him of this I am the righteousness of God in Christ! Then you cannot help but see the results in your life of magnifying the Lord Jesus and His finished work! I am the righteousness of God in Christ!
