2014 Countryweek Finals Results. So it was a great week last week for our three teams in Perth. With our sights set pretty high we did come away with good results. U11s fought hard in their final against Esperance ending full time in a draw, but went down in penalty shoot out. Finished week in 4th place but these kids had an outstanding week in a tough division. Special mention to Israel Eun for taking out Golden Boot for top goal scorer, and Nehemiah Reuben for being awarded Best and Fairest for their division. U13s won their final against Goldfields to finish the week in 3rd place. Again a great effort to finish top three!! U17s played well in their final also going down in penalty shoot out to Esperance. This team was playing half U15 players and did extremely well all week. Although finishing the week in 6th place they held there own against a very tough field of teams and should be proud of the results during the week. Big thanks to all parents and players, coaches Paul Lake, Tom Nelson, Neil Calder, team managers Ben Dunstan, Mel Nelson, Cheryle Harris. Special mention to Cheryle Harris and Viv Tripe for transporting the sports trailer to Perth and organising the team base set up early every morning.
