2014 had been full of events, travels, meetings, workshops around the world and excitement. It was a lot of fun, but kept me from finishing a lot of important projects here in Los Angeles, and took a toll on my health by the end of the year. I have decided to not travel with workshops in 2015. However, I had committed to teach at the Fstoppers Workshops 2015 a long time ago, so it will be the only workshops that I will teach in person this year. fstoppersworkshops/julia-kuzmenko-mckim/ There will be 2 two-day Beauty Photography & Retouching workshops with me. On day 1 we will shoot with my creative team and two models (I am hoping to bring Carolina Urrea and Tori Tracy), and we will go through my retouching workflow on day 2 - theory & practice. I will ask you to select your 10 best images from day 1 and we will go through them with you to select the best ones to retouch. Ill walk around the class and peek into everyones screen to help your determine the weaker areas of your retouching skills, and share my suggestions as to how you can improve, what to focus on in your further Beauty retouching and photography education, and etc. This is an amazing opportunity for passionate.. or should I say obsessed :D artists to combine an unforgettable journey to the Bahamas with creative learning... A chance to hang out with a whole bunch of equally obsessed artists from all over the world, and meet some of the celebrity instructors, you have known for years via the internets :) Aaron Nace of Phlearn, Matthew Jordan Smith Photography, Michael Kelley Photography, Monte Isom (monteisom/#/print/entertainment/4), Peter Hurley, Pye Jirsa of SLR Lounge, and others! Come register your spot before they are all gone! See you in the photography paradise :)
