#2106 This morning, observing a poor kid (hardly in his 12th or 13th year of age) doing non-stop labor at a snacks corner, made me realize our life is soooo much at ease comparatively .... And yet we are so ungrateful to the Almighty :/ That poor fellow washed umpteen number of dishes, made puris, rolled the dough for the samosas (which is a task that needs loads of muscular energy to be put in) and still peeping out of my window I can see him sweeping and mopping the floor!! We live in a nation where we pretend to strong criticize child labor but then take pride in calling out CHHOTU, do plate Puri Bhaaji laana We live in a nation where we can spend hundreds and thousands on an extra pair of sunglasses or earrings... But never think of spending the same money on a poor, needy or destitute.... EVEN though we know ALLAH has promised 700 times of our donations to be returned to us!!! *guilty and ashamed of myself* A silent call to everyone reading this, Dont just BUY something because you CAN.... But, DONATE something because you MUST!!!
