#247Crushes91 This is something similar to #247Crushes83, I guess, since its happened to me as well. When I first started MS-1, I only knew around 5 people in total who joined ROTC. Although people find it hard to believe, I am quite shy and am pretty bad at making good first impressions. I had a hard time talking to other cadets because I hardly knew anyone. I wasnt having the time of my life, but at least it got better, especially when we went on a field trip to cavite, because thats when everyone started being so friendly. I didnt know him back then. In fact, we only actually spoke and got to know each other during MS2. Its funny, because in one group photo back in sangley point, he and i were in the same photo (he was the one who even uploaded that photo), and yet i didnt know he existed until got to talk to him during MS2. We clicked, and we got along really well. I even made friends and kind of had a barkada with him and his 4 other friends that were there (heck, had it not been for two of them being put in the non-events section, I wouldnt have gotten to know him). Eventually, I realized I had developed feelings for him. I decided to confess and so I wrote him a letter (medyo old fashioned kasi ako) and gave it to him the day we graduated from ROTC (para drama naman hahaha) and a few days later, he gave me his reply, and although I was scared, it was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. I could not have been any happier when he told me he felt the same way. Someone even told me that looking back, he and i looked good together because we were painfully similar. I most definitely have no regrets joining ROTC. Time Submitted: Sunday, 07/20/2014, 09:50 PM
