2509 MT. VERNON AVE. MESA MEXICAN GRILL BURGLARY The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying and locating the following suspect wanted for Burglary. On October 4, 2014, at 4:07 am, the suspect, described as a: white or hispanic male, 20-30, 5’9” to 6’0”, 280-320 lbs., short beard, light colored beanie cap, light colored t-shirt with Tupac Shakur image and light colored shorts smashed the front glass door and entered the Mesa Mexican Grill located at 2509 Mt. Vernon Ave. Once inside the suspect searched through the cash register and sales counter but fled with no loss. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call Detective Mike Gerrity at (661) 326-3809 or the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111.
