26297.4 hours ago you were taken from us, Rog it’s feels like a zillion quillion hours. That’s 156 Friday nights of no DJing over skype, no name that tune, no ‘I bet you haven’t got…’ and me trying my bloody hardest to catch you out! No pictures of all those momentous occasions we’ve had, The Jubilee, The Olympics, the torch races with the build up to 2012. 1,576,800 minutes we haven’t had you in our lives and I’m sure that we have all thought about you that much and more. What’s Roger eating, the personal rego plates, Diwali firework pictures and what new gadget you’ve got, I miss those posts. I do talk to your picture, I tell you about my day, I tell you about the boys and I wish ‘Jackpinder’ could tell you about his day in IT, you would just love his banter, highly inappropriate but very funny. I feel blessed that you were in our lives and I thank you for being a true gent, an honest and loving friend who would do anything for you, and being the person who my boys looked up to and who you guided, especially Jack into the career he’s in now. I would raise a glass to you this evening but I have to work tomorrow which reminds me of the time you stayed over, we’d disco’d on a school night and Lisa Hill asked what I’d done to her Roger who was sat at his desk looking a bit green around the gills, I blame the fajitas ;) I hope the tunes are at full level, its Friday!!
