2nd JANUARY 2015 : SECRET # 78....HE MINGLED AMONG THE RICH AND FAMOUS! Poverty of the spirit, for Jesus, was worse than financial deprivation. The reason, perhaps, is because it is possible to be poor and still be happy but is also possible to have wealth and remain unhappy. Poverty of the spirit, void of inspiration, meaning and purpose, is the worst form of poverty. Because Jesus did not need a formal study to know money doesnt buy happiness. It makes sense that in addition to mingling among the poor and outcast he also mingled among the rich and famous. Jesus made no judgments one way or another about a persons financial or social status. Such superficial distinctions were of no consequence to Jesus. As such, in addition to the poor and downtrodden, Jesus counted the well to do among his followers. To judge someone superior to you just because they have more wealth is no different than judging someone as inferior just because they are poor. It is the same coin of judgement. When you can count the rich, the poor and those in - between among our friends, you have attained a rare measure of success. Like Jesus, you relate to others without distinction, by the light inside. The rich and famous, like Jesus, are not free of burdens or exempt from having their own cross to bear in life. Everyone feels the same pain, cries the same tears and sheds the same blood. Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
