4/13 BAY More and more reports from the bays and the rivers that dump into that small short stripers in the 15 to 24 inch range are being caught on bloodworms and clams. Places to fish are the Mullica River, the causeway bridges in LBI, Oyster Creek, the Toms River, around the RT 37 bridges, the sod banks in Barnegat Bay, Rartian Bay or in the inlets. That is to just name a few. White perch and winter flounder is doing good. Bait of choice there is bloodworms. And just think while fishing those you could even catch a stripers. It is that time of year where the fishing will start to heat up and you never know what will end up on the end of your line. The bays are a great place to be fishing right now.
