7/10/14: Day 52 Bob had another good day with a good appetite. Plus, some of his great smile and laughter was back! And, due to his weight loss, he is looking fine in some clothes he could not wear before. Today, Bob road with me to my office in Marietta. We took the back roads, enjoyed a milkshake and we saw a gorgeous rainbow. On the way back, we drove into the same rainbow which covered the passenger side of the car where Bob was setting. Could this be a sign from God that everything is gonna be alright? I have seen many rainbows in my life but I have never had one touch my car! The oncologist called today to let us know they have moved his biopsy from next Thursday to this Monday! No concern; just a scheduling change. Thanking the Lord in advance for a great report! Beginning tomorrow, we will have lots of activity at the house; my nephew Jon is cutting the grass and bringing Bob his truck. Bob said he just wants to look at it & ride in it on Monday when he goes for the biopsy. Jon is one of the best at detailing a vehicle. I cant wait for Bob to see his truck after 52 days. Then, Jons wife, my niece, Tiffany Peevy & their 4 children are coming to pick up Jon & to see their uncle Bob. On Saturday, my sister Gloria is coming to prepare to stay with Bob next week. And, my sister in law Lee, is coming to see us Saturday afternoon. We are so thankful for a caring family. Speaking of family, tomorrow afternoon, our nephew, David Swilley ( son of Mike & Kristy Swilley; grandson of Harry & Joyce Swilley) will marry his bride Lauren in Indianapolis. Bob & I had plans to be at the wedding & we regret we will miss this wonderful occasion. Our blessings to David, Lauren & their families for a wonderful wedding. I hope everyone had a blessed day!
