7-5-14 Are you a follower of Jesus? Before saying yes or I dont know. Let us go in prayer to The Lord. There is a difference between following Jesus and knowing Jesus. John 6:66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. This was right after Jesus feed the 5,000. They were traveling with Jesus but not followers. So ask ourselves are we just traveling with Jesus or actually following Him? Jesus is in the business for changing our lives upside down. Making a complete transformation in our lives not sticking band aides and you are good to go. It requires a full time commitment not part time. Following Jesus... Takes obedience, discipline, commitment and so much more. Denying the things of the world and ourselves to be followers of Jesus. It may mean you could lose your closest friends, family, job, or even your life. It may sound scary but let me tell you my dear ones. It is completely AMAZING!!!! YES, it is a challenge and YES, we step out of our comfort zones BUT it is so worth every second. I love Jesus so much and I cant imagine what my life would be without HIM but HE wants all of us every inch. Love you so much my dear ones. Have a super Saturday. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 Peter 1:14-16 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” Matthew 4:19-20 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.
