7 years ago, I was asked to shoot behind-the-scenes with Mary J. Blige. At the time, I was working in a cubicle in cupertino for Hewlett-Packard, so the opportunity was mind blowing. Not wanting to be just another photographer, I dumped my Canon Rebels and maxed out my credit cards on a pair of 5Ds, a 17-40L, 35L and 50L. Afterwards, I figured Id just go over the top, and decided to deliver the images in a format theyve never seen before. So I dumped the images into After Effects and went to town on the plane ride home. This was the result:
