A 26 yr old female comes to emergency Room complaining of severe right lower quadrant pain.She is immediately taken to the operating room and presumed for appendicitis.At the time of her surgery,appendix is normal.Surgeon sees the large mass on the right ovary and removes that.Frozen section on the mass shows corpus luteum.Immediately after surgery her pregnancy test is positive,6 weeks pregnant.You are called as the consulting gynaecologist.Your main concern is the following. A.hCG level should double in next two days since she is 6 weeks pregnant B.Having one ovary will affect her ability to produce hormones C.Removing corpus luteum will affect the pregnancy D.She could stay have an ectopic pregnancy E.Estrogen production will not be affected.
