A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a crime spree in the Kittybrewster area of Aberdeen. A number of properties were broken into and others were entered whilst the occupiers were within and property including jewellery, laptops, games consoles and money valued in the region of £5000 was stolen. The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday 27 January 2014. Some of the jewellery has been recovered, however the laptops, games consoles and two items of jewellery, a necklace and gold wedding ring which are of sentimental value are still outstanding. Sergeant David Ferguson, who is part of the Operation RAC team which has been set up to investigate Housebreakings said: I would encourage anyone who has been offered any of this property or who has any other information regarding these crimes to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0845 555111.
