A HIDDEN TREASURE If we could only Realize and Know the Joy and Pleasure of the Hidden Treasure that awaits us at the Throne of GOD. The Love, Joy, Strength and Encouragement that is found there. On days when we feel alone, Unwelcome or just feel Distanced from those around us, we are Welcomed Into The Throne Room of THE ALMIGHTY. David learned this at an early age, when he was alone in the field tending the sheep. I learned it at early age, when I had no one to play with; and and treasured is all my life. You may have learned it when you lost someone you loved. No matter where you learned about it and enjoyed the Revelation that there is a LOVING GOD WHO CARES FOR YOU, it is a lesson you Never want to forget. I have found through the years, the LORD will open doors into peoples lives for you to share this Joy with. When someone you love is going through trials, you can share with them the Comfort that comes from a HOLY and LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER. You dont have to preach at them, just tell them of the Love and Comfort you feel when you Pray or go to the WORD of GOD. I have been able to share this through the years in Counseling, Sunday School classes, Ladies Retreats and just one on one with those who are going trough heartache. Years ago, I was scolded by a leader in a group of people coping with the loss of a loved one. She said, when I shared with them to go to the WORD of GOD, HE would comfort them. This leader said, Dorothy, you dont understand what these people are going through. I had lost my Husband, My Mother and Father in law; my Sister and Brother in law; my Daddy and my home; and she said I did not understand! I understood through Experience.....First Hand....the Comfort and the ability to Cope comes through ALMIGHTY GOD and HIS WORD. GOD and HIS WORD had been my TREASURE for years; and NEITHER had never grown dull, or become less important in my life. But THOU, O LORD, art a Shield for me; my glory, and the Lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice,, and HE heard me out of HIS Holy hill. Selah. PSALM 3:3-4 But know that the LORD hath set apart them that are godly for HIMSELF: the LORD will hear when I call unto HIM. Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. There be many that say, Who will show us any good? LORD, lift thou up the LIGHT of THY Countenance upon us. I will both lay me down in Peace, and sleep; for THOU, LORD, Only makest me dwell in safety. PSALM 4:3-4,6,8 Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my KING, and my GOD: for unto THEE will I pray. My voice shalt THOU hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my Prayer unto THEE, and Will Look Up. PSALM 5:1-3 I waited patiently for the LORD; and HE inclined unto me, and Heard my cry. HE brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And HE hath put a New Song in my mouth, even PRAISE UNTO OUR GOD: many shall see it, and fear, and Shall Trust In The LORD. BLESSED is the man that maketh the LORD his trust.... PSALM 40:1-4a Where do you tell people to turn to? Do you encourage anger and bitterness if they are going through a Divorce.....Do you scold them when they are down and discouraged? Do you beat them over the head when they loose their job or home? Or Do you send them to the ONLY ONE WHO CAN HELP THEM COPE and WALK THROUGH THEIR TRIALS? LORD, Let me be YOUR MESSENGER OF GRACE Help me to show Mercy, when all is lost. Give me YOUR heart, LORD That I may lead others to the CROSS. Let my heart not grow weary each day, When someone needs my helping hand. Let them know YOU are available for them, And YOUR WORD, help them understand. LORD, enable me to show Mercy, extend Forgiveness and lend a helping hand where needed, and guide people to the CROSS of YOUR LOVE. FATHER, so many of my family and friends are suffering now, make a way, a time for them to draw apart and pray, and know the Comfort of YOUR Divine Grace. Thank YOU, ABBA, for hearing my prayers.
