A HUGE SHOUT OUT to those of you who responded to my plea a couple weeks ago regarding our bees and getting a daycare license. WE GET TO KEEP THE BEES! I conducted meticulous research based on many of the sites you suggested and wrote a 5 page essay which was passed on from my licensing rep on up the chain of command in DCFS. It landed on the desk of one of the top supervisors and guess what? HES A BEE KEEPER! My license should arrive in about 2 wks. and more important- it sets a precedence. Bees remain part of my curriculum and life! Thanks all esp. Ruth! Life is good.
